Feb 9th session registration now open

Cape Code CoderDojo is an open source, volunteer led movement orientated around running free coding clubs (Dojos) for young people between 7 - 17 years old. Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups with mentors to learn how to code, develop websites, apps, programs, games and much more. Dojos are set up, run and led by volunteers. Dojos make development and learning to code a fun, sociable and awesome experience!

Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups with mentors To register for the February 9th session or an upcoming session at Falmouth Academy fill out the form, indicate if you are a first time or beginner coder or interested in advanced class.

Cape Cod Coder Dojo's next session is on February 9th from 10 am-12 noon at Falmouth Academy. Registration is limited to 24 participants. Parents must be present with children 8 years old and younger during the session.

Demand is high and space is limited, if February 9th session is full, then please add your name to the waiting list if spots open up and consult the schedule for upcoming sessions

1) Do you need to be an experienced coder?
No. Cape Code's main goal is to open the world of programming to kids 7 -17. Anyone can learn to code. We offer Scratch for beginners and Python for intermediate to advanced.

2) Do I need to bring my own computer?
You can, but if you would prefer Falmouth Academy has graciously offered its lab computers for the sessions

3) Who is Cape Code Coder Dojo open to?
Cape Code is a free event and open to all Cape Cod area kids on a first come first serve basis. When spots fill up, preference will be given to students who have not attended before.

4) Do you need volunteers?
Yes, we are looking for mentors to help grow Cape Code and bring coding to more Cape Cod area kids.
